CLICK TO VIEW OPPORTUNITIES - NEED YOUR HELP NOW!!!

Welcome to AdAid. Thank you for being part of our innovative new venture.

Click here to view the creative briefs that are looking for your pro-bono creative and production skills

Once you've chosen the brief that you are interested in, you can download a pdf to work from. If anything is unclear then you can contact the author of the brief directly to ask for clarification.

We recommend that you make contact with this person anyway to ensure that they know who you are and they you are intending to spend time creating solutions for them. It is the client’s choice if they decide to remove the brief from the AdAid system at any time (as the requirements may be out of date, or another person may have been working on the solution already), so it is in your interest to contact and say hello and let them know your intentions. Perhaps you may ask them to remove the brief so that you can have “exclusive ownership” of the opportunity?

Whilst timings will be subject to the specifics of each brief, the aim should be to complete the job within 45 days of first contact.

AdAid is pro-bono. By donating your skills, you give a voice to a charity or Non-Profit Organisation that hasn't had one before. Subsequently, there is no expectation of any charges between yourselves and the Non-Profit Organisation with regards to your time.

Any hard production costs you incur - such as proofs, billboard skins, copies of television campaign masters etc are to be covered by the Non-Profit you are working for - the briefing sheet from them will confirm the budget for this up front.

The Briefing sheet will also specify what medium of production is being requested by the Non-Profit Organisation. If you'd like to offer pro bono help in a different medium, or feel that the aims of the non profit can be achieved via alternative means to that requested then let us know and we'll get back to you.

The Bi-Monthly Karma Award

We believe that is is important to recognize talent, especially pro-bono efforts, therefore aside from warm-fuzzy feelings you gain from helping others we have further rewards.

All work completed will be entered free of charge into the AdAid Bi-Monthly Karma Awards. This is a panel consisting of guest judges such as Andy Blood, Richard Maddocks and Andrew Stone who will choose the best creative solution. The winner will receive

  • the AdAid trophy engraved with the winner’s name(s)
  • a personal prize with a value of upto NZ$1000 (depending upon what we can source. Non-cash prize)
  • announcement of winners in AdMedia and Fastline
  • and importantly, if relevant, the winning solution is guaranteed to run (once) in “paid-for” media space ensuring eligibility for NZ and International creative awards entry

All standard production formats are acceptable for:

  • Print
  • Radio
  • Television
  • Billboard
  • Internet
  • PR
